Hardware/Software Design: As system developers, we offer a full suite of hardware and software design services and a wealth of experience in a number of technology areas. On the hardware side, we can offer digital, analog (both small signal and power), and mixed mode designs. Our software experience includes both embedded systems as well as PC and workstation based applications.

Design Verification and Validation: Frequently we have customers that have needs for third party design verification or validation. This could be part of a client's in-house design activity or where a design is provided by another firm and our client needs someone to verify that the design meets the product requirements or that the design/manufacturing documentation is complete and accurate.

Architectural Studies: We can help the customer transform his product/system requirements into a viable electronic architecture. Because of our vast experience in a number of technologies and industries, we can create an architecture that is optimized for his needs. Prototype Build/Custom Test Equipment: We routinely provide prototypes of the systems/devices that we develop. The quantities for these builds vary by contract but can range from a small quantity (3-5) to moderate quantities (100+). We can also design custom test equipment where needed to provide either factory or field test capabilities.

Full Scale Manufacturing:
Group Alpha can provide full scale manufacturing at the board level in either through hole or SMD. We can also provide you with top level assembly of the system including cable and enclosure build.

System Integration:
A number of our clients need system integration which may be done at our facility, or at the customer site. Our technical staff can provide the necessary expertise to insure that your field installations come off both as professionally done and in a timely fashion.

Field Support:
We can also provide you with on-going technical support. This can be via telephone hot line, or alternatively on-site. Our factory can also act as your field depot. We can ship your field staff assemblies from our filed float stock overnight, have any defective assembly returned for repair and restocked into the float inventory. This reduces the amount of field inventory that you will need in the field and minimizes the number of processes and people involved in handling field problems.
